Why do we have an annual Fundraising Cycle

The Annual RMHC #Cycle4Families is one of our main fundraising events. This event will provide vital funding for The Ronald McDonald House Charity as we take on the enormous challenge of raising €19 million+ for our new 53 bedroom Ronald McDonald House beside The New Children’s Hospital. Opening in 2023.

By cycling4Families, you make sure that the Families who live in the Ronald McDonald Houses each year can be close to their sick child. For a kiss, a hug or a bedtime story. A nice and safe feeling for parents and child. As a parent, you always want to be there for your child. Especially when it is at its most vulnerable. That is why the Ronald McDonald House is here. We want sick children to always have their families close by.

Research has shown that for a sick child the attention, warmth, and closeness of family are crucial for the recovery. We want to keep as many sick children as possible with their dad, mum, brothers, and sisters. Your participation in our Cycle Event on May 11th and all the fundraising you do will help us get closer to our goal of

Building the most important House in the world
