On the 7th / 8th of October 2017, The Ronald McDonald House Charity will be holding its annual #Walk4Families event in various locations nationwide.
Wear your Stripes for RMHC and help The Ronald McDonald House build a new 53 Bedroom House so we can keep more families close and together while their child is ill in hospital. This year we are adding an extra fun element to our Walk4Families event by encouraging all participants to wear something stripy or come completely dressed head to toe in stripes.
Our Families come from all walks of life, but our goal is the same for all: Provide “a home away from home” as their kids get back on their feet and back to being footloose and fancy-free!
Cork – Ballincollig Park, Ballincollig, Co. Cork, Sunday October 08th at 2pm
Galway – Galway Bay Promenade, Starting from Galway Bay Hotel, Sunday October 8th at 12pm
Mayo – Belleek Athletic Club, Ballina Sunday October 8th at 3pm
Sligo – Doorly Park, Sligo town, Co. Sligo, Sunday October 08th at 11am

Many thanks to all of you who organised or attended our last year’s #Walk4Families. The day was a great success and hopefully the first of many! Lots of photos on our Facebook/RMHCIreland page.
The mission of RMHC, Ireland, is to provide a Ronald McDonald House in order to support families whose children are seriously ill in hospital. The Ronald McDonald House provides accommodation and a caring and supportive environment for families, whose children are seriously ill and are hospitalised or undergoing medical treatment at Our Lady’s Children’s Hospital. Since we opened in 2004 we have provided in excess of 2,700 families from all over Ireland with accommodation, care and support #caring4families.
